Club Events : 13 Sept 08 - More details about the Fun Fly and Lantern festival celebrations

On 13 Sept 08, RMS will be holding fun fly events, lantern festival and night flying at the RMS Tuas flying field. The event will start from 1pm.

So bring your family along for an evening of fun and food! We will also be having a members' Mid Autumn Celebration with mooncakes and lantern. Bring along your night flying planes to light up the skies with our very own night pilots.

The details of the events are as follow:

1. Mystery Pylon
This pylon event is for all members who have aircraft that can ROG. Yes, that's all you need, so come on down and sign up.

2. Helicopter fun fly
Any member who has pass the club's helicopter proficiency test will be able to take part. In case you are wondering what is the helicopter proficiency test, it is hovering within a spot for 5mins.

Pilots are required to do spot landings in the shortest possible time.

3. Airplane fun fly - Balloon bursting
Due to the overwhelming response during the last funfly, we are bringing this event back for all to enjoy. Hint: Needles on the plane are allow.

4. Club 20 Pylon race
A pylon race for the serious. The rules of this race are set out here.

5. Club 50 Pylon race
The Club 50 pylon race is designed for all trainer and sports 40-class models. So have you have just pass your proficiency test, this is the event for you! The rules of this race are set out here.

6. Club 400E Pylon race
The Club 400E pylon race is designed for members with electric trainer, sports and aerobatics. The rules of this race are set out here.

7. Club EDF Pylon race
The Club EDF Pylon race is designed for members with EDF(electric ducted fan) or pusher propeller models.

Please note that the above fun-fly events are subjected to cancellation by the contest directors on the day of the event. The organising committee hopes to hold as many of the above fun fly events as possible with an objective - Having fun in R/C!
